- New Lead Requirements:
The Lead and Copper Rule now requires all public water systems to provide the results of each lead sample to each customer who collected a sample. Consumer notification is required for each round of lead and copper tap monitoring within 30 days of receiving test results from your laboratory. Also, it is required that systems send certification to DES that consumer notification was completed. - Notification and Certification Forms
